About the role
- Drive the quality engineering strategy for a modern analytics platform
- Lead automation testing for data pipelines, transformations, data models, and BI dashboards
- Define and implement the end-to-end QA strategy
- Establish automation-first testing practices
- Lead and mentor QA engineers
- Validate data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake
- Test transformations, aggregations, joins, and business logic
- Validate datasets, semantic models, DAX calculations in Power BI
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks
- Conduct query performance benchmarking
- Integrate QA processes into DevOps pipelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation
- 3+ years focused on data warehouse, ETL/ELT, and analytics testing
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong experience testing Power BI
- Proven expertise building and maintaining automation frameworks using Python, Java, Great Expectations, dbt tests, or similar tools
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
