About the role

  • Assist in updating and maintaining documentation for logical and physical networks, recording all changes made in the environment;
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies to prevent physical and logical intrusions, and update antivirus software;
  • Support the execution of backup routines;
  • Support maintenance of digital communications (email, web, FTP, VPN, VoIP, etc.) and telecommunications;
  • Assist in implementing access policies and content control;
  • Assist in creating and maintaining network user accounts;
  • Install, configure, and test network and workstation communications, continuously monitor performance, and make necessary adjustments;
  • Keep the internet/email network and data communication environment in optimal working and operational condition.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree in Information Technology or related field;
  • Experience with IT infrastructure or related areas;
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure;
  • Experience monitoring telecommunications environments is desirable.
