About the role
- Correspond with potential clients during the intake process
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases
- Primary work is with EB-3, H1B, OPT, TN, F1 and F2 visas
- Prepare immigration petitions and responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reconsider, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny;
- Oversee and lead various projects and deadlines
- Maybe required to research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions
Requirements
- NC Paralegal Certification
- Associate’s Degree Preferred
- At least two years of experience, Immigration Law preferred
- Solid writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Ability to adhere and meet strict deadlines
