About the role
- Lead and own the end-to-end design process for all Mechasys software products.
- Conduct deep user research, including on-site visits to construction projects.
- Serve as the product design voice and thought leader throughout the organization.
- Effectively communicate and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Stay current on the latest design tools, technologies, and processes.
- Map complex user flows, create wireframes, and build high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
- Design clean, robust, and highly functional user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system (D-System).
- Partner closely with Product Management to define requirements.
- Own the usability testing process, iterating rapidly on feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, data-rich web applications and mobile applications.
- Proven B2B / Hardware-in-the-Loop Experience: Your portfolio must demonstrate experience designing for industrial, B2B, or complex "human-in-the-loop" systems.
- Field Workflow Obsession: A genuine passion for understanding and simplifying complex physical-world workflows.
- Strategic & Business Acumen: Drive design decisions by expertly balancing user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
- Technical Fluency: Expertise in modern design, prototyping, and research tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, UserTesting).
