Therapist

• Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview
• Create individualized treatment and educational plans and provide patient/family counseling and training
• Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care
• Develop and implement innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings
• Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals
• Contribute to program development
• Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment
• Timely documentation of client progress and complete billing logs ethically and accurately for occupational therapy services provided
