About the role
- We’re looking for a commercial utility player to work across the business. Partnering directly with the CEO and leadership team, you’ll ensure our operational and financial basics are solid, turn data into clear insights, and lead the projects that move us forward. You’ll join proven operators who value strong analytical and commercial instincts.
- You’ll drive impact across three main areas:
- Run core business ops (20%): Ensure that core functions like operations, finance, and reporting deliver accurate, trusted data.
- Turn data into company priorities (30%): Work across customer, financial, market data and translate numbers into clear insights. Use those insights to set company priorities and stay the course to goal.
- Drive growth and outcomes (50%): Lead and execute key initiatives end-to-end: scope the problem/opportunity, options, and path forward. This means working across the entire business.
- For example, you may find that there’s an opportunity to simplify a core, but partially manual, process via LLMs. You size the healthy contribution margin impact, coordinate with others, and get it shipped.
Requirements
- Analytical mid-career builder (typically 6–8 years in) who combines sharp thinking with a bias for action.
- Developed strong commercial judgment - often from time (1yr+) in VC, consulting, or banking
- Spent at least 2+ years inside a startup or growth company, owning a key initiative or business line.
- Hungry to move faster, take more ownership, and help build a business from the inside.
- A track record of creating systems or models that shaped high-impact decisions
- High agency, high standards, low ego.
- Thrives with autonomy, clean communicator.
