About the role
- Perform all operations related to movements of insurable and non-insurable benefits (additions, removals, changes, upgrades and/or plan extensions) using carriers' and insurers' portals and systems to ensure all processing is completed correctly.
- Process the billing kit through carriers' and insurers' portals/systems to prepare and send it to the client in an organized and secure manner.
- Verify invoices by checking all data and information contained in the Billing Kit files to ensure all performed movements have been processed correctly.
- Review all received documents to identify contradictory data or information, gaps, errors, incorrect numbers or documents, and outdated information in order to protect and prevent issues that could cause harm to the business and/or client.
- Maintain control records of all movements performed by entering required data and information to ensure effective tracking of actions taken.
- Provide empathetic, customer-focused support through attentive communication and understanding of needs, offering clarification and necessary information regarding billing and/or premium allocation processes.
- Evaluate dependents who reach the age of majority (monthly billing report and insurers' registration status) by analyzing reports issued by carriers/insurers to process exclusions due to age limits (adulthood).
- Identify improvement opportunities by mapping processes during execution, applying procedures and workflows, and suggesting actions to enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
- Perform other related duties inherent to the role as needed or requested by the area, including training, professional development and guidance from the immediate supervisor, to ensure continuous professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources Management or related fields
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience in the insurance sector with operational processes for health, dental and life products
