About the role

  • Execute all operations related to movements of insurable and non-insurable benefits (inclusions, removals, changes, upgrades and/or extension plans) using carriers' and/or insurers' portals and systems to ensure that all processing is completed correctly.
  • Process the billing kit using carriers' and/or insurers' portals and systems to prepare and send it to the client in an organized and secure manner.
  • Verify invoices by checking all data and information contained in the Billing Kit files to ensure all recorded movements have been processed correctly.
  • Review all received documents to identify contradictory data or information, gaps, errors, incorrect numbers or documents, and outdated information in order to protect against and prevent issues that could cause losses to the business and/or client.
  • Maintain the control log of all movements by entering the required data and information to ensure effective tracking of actions performed.
  • Provide empathetic, customer-focused service through attentive communication, dialogue and understanding of needs to clarify doubts and provide necessary information related to billing and/or allocation processes.
  • Assess dependents who reach adulthood (monthly billing report and insurers' registration status) by analyzing reports issued by carriers and/or insurers, to process removals due to age limits (adulthood).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by mapping processes during execution and applying procedures and workflows, in order to suggest actions that enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
  • Perform other related duties inherent to the role as required by the area, when necessary, through training, professional development and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in the insurance sector with operational processes for health, dental and life products
