About the role
- Perform all operational processing of movements for insurable and non-insurable benefits (additions, removals, changes, upgrades, and/or plan extensions) using carriers’ and/or insurers’ portals and systems to ensure correct processing.
- Process billing kits using carriers’ and/or insurers’ portals and systems to prepare and send organized and secure documentation to the client.
- Reconcile invoices by verifying all data and information contained in the Billing Kit files to ensure all transactions have been processed correctly.
- Review all received documents by identifying contradictory data or information, gaps, errors, incorrect numbers and documents, and outdated information to protect the business and clients from issues and potential losses.
- Complete the control log for all transactions performed by entering required data and information to ensure effective tracking of actions taken.
- Provide empathetic, customer-focused service through attentive communication and understanding of needs in order to clarify doubts and provide necessary information regarding billing and/or allocation processes.
- Evaluate dependents who reach legal adulthood (Monthly billing report and insurers’ registration status) by analyzing reports issued by carriers and/or insurers to process removals due to age limits.
- Identify opportunities for improvement by mapping processes during execution, applying procedures and workflows, and suggesting actions that enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as required by the area, through training, professional development and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
- Experience in the insurance area with operational processes for health, dental and life products.
