About the role

  • Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly client invoices based on key revenue drivers and pass-through expenses.
  • Review, approve, and sync credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including updates for additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to financial reporting.
  • Support other tasks and duties as needed to ensure smooth finance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with Sage Intacct, Ramp, ADP software a plus
