About the role
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Davies Risk Services’ Loss Control business
- Leverage an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships
- Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to client needs
- Lead relationship management with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects
- Stay current with market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes affecting loss control and risk consulting
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to shape DRS’ strategic growth priorities
- Represent DRS at industry conferences, forums, and networking events
- Contribute to the development of pricing, compensation structures, and other business models to support growth

Requirements
- Extensive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry, specifically in loss control and/or risk consulting
- Existing book of business and a strong professional network within the loss control market
- In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial property underwriting processes
- Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and closing deals in the insurance sector
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with C-level and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative leadership environment
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration
