About the role

Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Davies Risk Services’ Loss Control business
Leverage an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships
Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to client needs
Lead relationship management with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects
Stay current with market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes affecting loss control and risk consulting
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to shape DRS’ strategic growth priorities
Represent DRS at industry conferences, forums, and networking events
Contribute to the development of pricing, compensation structures, and other business models to support growth

Perform other duties as assigned

Extensive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry, specifically in loss control and/or risk consulting
Existing book of business and a strong professional network within the loss control market
In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial property underwriting processes
Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and closing deals in the insurance sector
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with C-level and senior stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative leadership environment
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration
