Product Designer

• Design features that improve how clinicians discover, use, and return to MDCalc
• Contribute UX thinking early in the product process, from problem framing through interaction design and final specs
• Support the design of commercial-facing surfaces including ad placements, campaign-adjacent UI, and client-facing tooling where UX intersects with revenue
• Contribute to and maintain MDCalc's design system, ensuring components are consistent, accessible, and well-documented
• Partner with Engineering to close the gap between design specs and implementation, and flag drift when it occurs
• Participate in user research sessions - contributing to discussion guides, observing sessions, and synthesizing findings into design decisions
• Use behavioral data and usability feedback to identify friction and drive iteration post-launch
• Work across Product, Engineering, and Data as a full participant in sprint and discovery workflows
• Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously across different product areas

Full-stack Engineer

• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on MDCalc's commercial team, you'll be the technical backbone of the systems that power our revenue and business operations, the infrastructure that makes MDCalc's commercial partnerships work at scale.
• You'll build and own internal tooling, data pipelines, and backend services in close collaboration with our data, product, and commercial teams.
• Design, build, and own backend systems and internal tools that support advertising delivery, campaign management, audience segmentation, and commercial reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics infrastructure to power commercial decision-making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate commercial requirements into scalable technical solutions, writing clear specs, querying data, and iterating on internal dashboards and tools.
• Contribute to architecture decisions around data modeling, API design, and system performance for commercial-facing services.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and observability across commercial systems through thoughtful instrumentation, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and revenue teams to ship reliable, well-documented software with real business impact.

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Product Manager

• Own a portfolio of projects aimed at improving activation, retention, and personalization across the MDCalc platform
• Drive each project from problem definition through scoping, delivery, and post-launch measurement
• Identify engagement gaps using qualitative research, behavioral data, and competitive benchmarking
• Build and iterate on onboarding experiences that help new users quickly understand MDCalc's value and establish return habits
• Define success metrics and work with Data to instrument and evaluate activation flows
• Own projects that increase return visit frequency and surface relevant tools to the right users at the right moments
• Partner with Engineering and Data on personalization capabilities — favorites, recents, specialty-based recommendations, and similar patterns
• Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that Engineering and Design can build to
• Lead cross-functional execution across active projects, managing scope, timelines, and dependencies
• Use data to identify issues post-launch, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement

Product Manager, User Product

Director

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the identified user base across platforms, developing and deploying personalized, relevant experiences to clinicians.
• Design initiatives that deepen user engagement, increase session frequency, and drive consistent platform usage. Manage editorial calendar, strategize mechanisms for thought leadership, including speaking events, conference planning, and press engagement.
• Own digital marketing channels including email, social media, SEO/SEM, app store optimization, paid acquisition, and alignment across platforms. Develop campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and retention among healthcare professionals. Source and manage vendors.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of growth and engagement initiatives. Incorporate user feedback from survey data and focus groups as needed. Use data to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and iterate on tactics.
• Partner closely with product and engineering to align on user experience improvements, feature adoption, and platform capabilities that support engagement goals. Collaborate with content and commercial teams to ensure cohesive messaging and priorities.
• Evaluate and apply AI-based approaches to audience segmentation, personalization, content discovery, and marketing operations. Partner with product and data teams on practical AI applications that support identification and engagement goals.
• Build a culture of experimentation, including designing A/B tests, pilots, and trials to validate strategies before scaling.

Director of Clinician Engagement

• Own the roadmap for ad serving and campaign management systems, including campaign delivery, targeting, inventory management, pricing, and configuration tooling
• Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user workflows that translate business needs into buildable engineering solutions
• Drive prioritization and execution across multiple active initiatives
• Own the roadmap for automating commercial workflows including campaign setup, creative trafficking, reporting, and delivery operations
• Partner with Engineering and Data teams to reduce manual processes and improve scalability
• Contribute to audience and data platform capabilities that connect identification, targeting, measurement, and delivery
