About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Equip the life sciences business unit (LSBU) with the clinical guidance and expertise they need to frame medical solutions and product benefits in alignment with clinical best practices throughout the sales process.
- Deliver focused, up-to-date training to internal teams on specific disease states, products, or clinical guidelines before client meetings or sales calls, ensuring team members are well-versed in the latest medical evidence and terminology.
- Join select sales pitches and client engagements as the "voice of the physician," fielding complex clinical questions, offering objective scientific insight, and building trust through credible peer-to-peer dialogue, all while staying compliant and non-promotional.
- Create and maintain educational resources, FAQs, and briefing documents to support the sales cycle, anticipate client questions, and enhance internal confidence in discussing medical topics.
- Build relationships with key medical and clinical experts, thought leaders, and opinion makers, and translate their insight into the platform's clinical content.
- Collaborate with the MDCalc internal content team to identify these areas for opportunity, and to create, update, and curate clinical content, including calculators, guidelines, and other resources. Support teams cross-functionally for prioritization of tools, incorporating life science requests, alongside other content needs.
- Shape strategic initiatives, projects, and partnerships tied to clinical content development and overall engagement on MDCalc.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and participate in the clinical review of content products, including platform tools, guidelines, podcast, and other products, to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and adherence to best clinical practices.
