About the role
- Serve as a team leader and mentor.
- Design strategies to improve application availability, performance, and overall system health.
- Diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
- Identify and resolve recurring incidents to reduce mean time to resolution.
- Support application deployments and DevOps workflows.
- Create and refine processes to meet SLO/SLA targets.
- Develop, maintain, and automate Disaster Recovery documentation.
- Manage application‑related data tasks, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and jobs.
- Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
- Provide documentation and evidence for annual audits.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; typically 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- 4–7+ years with Windows Server administration.
- 4–7+ years supporting both fat‑client and web applications on Windows Server with SQL Server backends.
- 3+ years supporting system integrations (web services/APIs on IIS).
- 3+ years with automated build/provisioning processes.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for application or cloud automation.
- 2+ years writing T-SQL and updating stored procedures.
