About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative benefit programs that support McKesson’s overall Total Rewards strategy
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned benefit programs
- Serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders including HR Business Partners
- Own the strategic and operational success of external benefit vendor relationships
- Analyze claims data, engagement trends, and market benchmarks
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Support change management and employee communications related to vendor transitions
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits strategy, program design, and vendor management
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; proficiency in PowerPoint required
- Experience developing and executing strategic benefit communications
