About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative benefit programs that support McKesson’s overall Total Rewards strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation
  • Own the full lifecycle of assigned benefit programs
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders including HR Business Partners
  • Own the strategic and operational success of external benefit vendor relationships
  • Analyze claims data, engagement trends, and market benchmarks
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Support change management and employee communications related to vendor transitions

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits strategy, program design, and vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; proficiency in PowerPoint required
  • Experience developing and executing strategic benefit communications
