About the role
- Work in collaboration with the Grant Finance Manager to implement financial infrastructure
- Involved in project implementation finances including cost management and financial reporting
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues to streamline project-related information and financial data
- Assist the Grant Finance Manager in analyzing project costs and providing financial decision support
- Evaluate best industry practices within internal systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and GAAP
- Knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations, including FAR and 2CFR200
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
- Solid experience in cradle-to-grave project finances
- Strong budgeting and analytical/problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels
