About the role
- Drive the execution of sophisticated grant-seeking strategies.
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients across organizations.
- Manage end-to-end development of grant proposals, including complex proposals.
- Track funding trends, emerging priorities, and legislative shifts.
- Engage with clients on-site and participate in industry conferences (approx. <20% travel).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a health-specific or health science related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in research development or federal grants management.
- Deep knowledge of federal agencies and grant programs (e.g., NIH, HRSA, SAMHSA, DoD).
- Prior experience in an academic sponsored programs setting is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in federal agency proposal development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and research synthesis tools.
- Strong project management skills (Certifications like PMP or APMP are a plus).
