About the role
- Ensure delivery of comprehensive HR services to the MAXIS US Team
- Collaborate with business units on all aspects of Human Resources
- Support managers in the US region and provide guidance where necessary
- Develop and communicate HR policies and MAXIS regulations to employees
- Lead the US year-end performance management processes and salary/ bonus review
- Collaborate with Director of HR Operations & Reward on managing extended leave cases
- Act day-to-day contact for any ADP issues
- Facilitate employee engagement activities, including virtual happy hours, office hours, and team meetups
- Manage monthly payroll preparation
- Complete special projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree education or equivalent level of work experience
- HR qualification preferred (SHRM etc)
- Solid HR generalist with proven experience ideally within a dynamic international environment
- In-depth knowledge of US employment law and policies and procedures
- Attention to detail and flexibility to manage own workload in a mostly stand-alone role
- Ability to work across all levels from Executive Team support to Administration
- Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Insurance/ Financial Services/ Sales desirable
- Strong project management skills
- High level of proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of HR systems (ADP TotalSource, BambooHR)
