About the role

  • Ensure contractual Mission Assurance Plan (MAP) is executed and implemented on spacecraft programs
  • Drive major quality issue closure to program schedule
  • Plan and execute Product Assurance (PA) activities on complex spacecraft programs
  • Manage cross functional Product Assurance team to deliver program PA requirements
  • Manage customer PA meetings and drive action item and NCR closure
  • Provide risk assessments for PA deliverables
  • Manage SCQE activities for assigned programs
  • Lead PA Improvement activities
  • Define and monitor SMA costs for assigned programs
  • Monthly travel to Palo Alto expected if employee is not local

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • BS in an engineering or STEM discipline or equivalent experience (4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • 15 years of experience
