About the role
- Ensure contractual Mission Assurance Plan (MAP) is executed and implemented on spacecraft programs
- Drive major quality issue closure to program schedule
- Plan and execute Product Assurance (PA) activities on complex spacecraft programs
- Manage cross functional Product Assurance team to deliver program PA requirements
- Manage customer PA meetings and drive action item and NCR closure
- Provide risk assessments for PA deliverables
- Manage SCQE activities for assigned programs
- Lead PA Improvement activities
- Define and monitor SMA costs for assigned programs
- Monthly travel to Palo Alto expected if employee is not local
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- BS in an engineering or STEM discipline or equivalent experience (4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree)
- 15 years of experience
- Project Management
- Customer Management and Communication
- Experience with Maxar Systems and MS tools
