About the role
- Deliver Customer Implementations
- Ship Maxa's product with an exceptional customer experience that makes clients advocates.
- Partner with CFOs and Controllers to modernize their financial reporting infrastructure.
- Design financial data models that bridge the gap between operational systems and executive decision-making.
- Synthesize and validate rigorous business requirements through high-level stakeholder interviews, business process deep-dives and technical workshops.
- Translate complex accounting requirements (intercompany eliminations, multi-currency, segment reporting) into technical specifications.
- Define and deliver actionable insights from financial and operational data.
- Champion the Methodology
- Document best-practice patterns for common finance use cases (gross margin analysis, working capital reporting, budget vs. actuals).
- Evangelize the "same but different" philosophy by showing the teams how to leverage patterns instead of reinventing everything.
- Scale Through Continuous Improvement
- Capture reusable patterns in our Playbook and turn every delivery into training data for the next.
- Use AI boldly to automate workflows that 10x our delivery speed.
- Obsess over the metrics that matter: cycle time, first-pass quality, customer CSAT.
Requirements
- CPA (or CMA/CFA) with 5-10 years in FP&A, financial systems, or corporate finance roles
- Deep mastery of financial consolidation, variance analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and management reporting.
- Deep fluency with financial & operational systems (ERP, CRM, WMS) and operational processes (O2C, P2P, R2R)
- You’re a workshop facilitation expert. You’ve run countless discovery sessions and know how to extract business narratives, not just list requirements
- You’re comfortable with SQL and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
- Client relationship mastery: You’re a storyteller, have managed C-suite expectations and navigated tough escalations.
- Bilingual (French & English)
