Infrastructure Engineer

• Planning, operation and continuous development of the institute’s campus network (LAN, Wi‑Fi/WLAN, WAN, VPN, IPv4/IPv6)
• Administration of network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Designing secure and scalable network architectures for scientific computing and data-intensive research workflows
• Supporting the infrastructure for research data management (archiving and network access)
• Monitoring and optimizing network performance, availability and security
• Implementing automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for deployment and configuration of network-related systems
• Maintaining and improving system monitoring and network observability
• Collaborating with researchers to plan network-related infrastructure solutions for specialized research projects
• Participating in the modernization of the institute’s IT infrastructure and security architecture
