About the role
- Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 40-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause, menopause
- Provide care for adoption, surrogacy, fertility, egg freezing, loss, return-to-work issues
- Treat anxiety, depression, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and related mental health conditions
- Support balancing work-life and parent life and provide parent and family coaching
- Use brief solution-focused therapy to address immediate issues so client leaves with tools and skills
- Capture encounter summary documentation in the practice management system, MPractice
- Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
- Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s care model, providing culturally humble care
Requirements
- Hold an unrestricted LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license in New York
- Ability to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor (without current, past, or pending disciplinary action)
- Must be residing in the United States
- Must be able to provide direct member care for 5 per week
- Part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
- Must contract through a business entity (LLC required)
- 3+ years of prior experience in the tele-health space
- Comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
- Must own an iOs device (iPhone or iPad) that can be updated past iOs16 and have access to a laptop computer with strong and reliable internet access
- Must be passionate about women’s and family health
