About the role

  • Own architecture & validation for complex opportunities: grounding strategies (search/RAG/connectors), action frameworks, data contracts, identity, observability, and SLAs.
  • Design production‑like POCs: Guide POC definition for the most complex customers including defining success criteria, eval methodology, test plans, and quality metrics—run the daily tuning loop with PgM/SE partners.
  • Hands‑on prototyping: Build reference integrations using the Maven platform, unblock edge cases.
  • Author reusable artifacts: Reference architectures, solution briefs, and demo baselines that raise team throughput.
  • Lead Exec‑level technical deep dives: lead architecture and roadmap sessions; crisply explain tradeoffs to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Solutions Architecture/Applied Engineering for enterprise SaaS or ML/LLM products.
  • Strong system design: microservices/eventing, REST/GraphQL, data modeling,
  • LLM/AI familiarity: RAG, tool use/function‑calling, prompt & retrieval evaluation, safety guardrails.
  • Practical coding (JS/Node/TypeScript or Python) and integration experience (APIs, webhooks, ETL/iPaaS).
  • Excellent writing, diagrams, and executive presence
  • Bonus: CX/Support stack (Zendesk/Salesforce), analytics, contact center/telephony, and regulated data environments.
