About the role

  • Develop, as part of a team, a strategic business development approach and translate it into concrete action plans;
  • Identify short- and medium-term business opportunities and create a complete profile for each targeted company;
  • Define a customer account strategy by identifying growth, profitability and customer satisfaction improvement vectors (aiming to reach an industry-leading level of customer satisfaction);
  • Establish a concrete action plan to generate order intake;
  • Collaborate closely with project managers on multiple stages of the strategy to be implemented and on project execution;
  • Maintain ongoing industry watch; participate in trade shows, association events and seminars to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Degree in automation, mechanization, robotics and/or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, supported by significant achievements (meeting or exceeding targets) in the industrial equipment industry (food sector is an asset).
  • Excellent written and oral skills in French and English.
  • Dynamic, motivated personality with a strong results orientation (entrepreneurial mindset).
  • Strong experience in negotiation and closing sales ("hunter" profile) across multiple organizational levels, using a consultative approach as a trusted partner.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and develop business partnerships.
  • Comfortable working and celebrating as a team ("team victory") and able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic cutting equipment, robotic solutions or packaging (food industry is an asset).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks (asset).
