About the role
- Participate in system design and simulation during the bidding process
- Contribute to the development of robotic solutions that may include a variety of robots, cobots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), operator interfaces (HMIs), and specialized mechanisms tailored to our clients' manufacturing processes
- Develop various applications and implement robot programs
- Verify proper operation of programs and ensure their integration with other system components
- Commission systems at our facility prior to delivery to ensure compliance
- Participate in installations and commissioning at client sites
- Provide technical support to clients after commissioning
- Other related duties.
Requirements
- AEC or DEC in Robotics, Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Engineering (robotics profile), or another relevant field
- 3+ years of work experience
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Experience with the Fanuc platform (asset); Allen-Bradley (asset)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks (assets)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems/pneumatics (an asset)
- Willingness to travel for project implementation at client sites (Canada/US)
- Detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused
- Customer service skills
