About the role

  • Participate in system design and simulation during the bidding process
  • Contribute to the development of robotic solutions that may include a variety of robots, cobots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), operator interfaces (HMIs), and specialized mechanisms tailored to our clients' manufacturing processes
  • Develop various applications and implement robot programs
  • Verify proper operation of programs and ensure their integration with other system components
  • Commission systems at our facility prior to delivery to ensure compliance
  • Participate in installations and commissioning at client sites
  • Provide technical support to clients after commissioning
  • Other related duties.

Requirements

  • AEC or DEC in Robotics, Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Engineering (robotics profile), or another relevant field
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Fluent in French, both spoken and written
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with the Fanuc platform (asset); Allen-Bradley (asset)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks (assets)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems/pneumatics (an asset)
  • Willingness to travel for project implementation at client sites (Canada/US)
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused
  • Customer service skills
