About the role

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, IT professionals, and external vendors
  • Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of OT systems
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for OT project management
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and user manuals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry
  • 7-10 years with various manufacturing controls and digital systems (PLCs, OT, SCADA, MES, SAP, etc.)
  • At least 5-10 years of experience as a technical project manager or product owner in the smart manufacturing space
  • Experience with, and understanding of Industrial Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA
  • Hands-on smart manufacturing and/or digital transformation project implementation experience is preferred.
