About the role

  • Contribute to setting the vision, priorities, and roadmap for the Modeling COE, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Drive innovation in modeling techniques, tools, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, influencing decision-making and driving consensus on complex modeling initiatives
  • Collaborate with leaders within the Finance organization to ensure alignment of modeling outputs with business objectives
  • Communicate complex modeling results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of life and health actuarial projection models used for FP&A, ALM and capital planning
  • Ensure financial projection models comply with regulatory requirements and internal control standards
  • Actively manage team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and create opportunities for professional growth to build a high-performing and engaged team

Requirements

  • FSA or equivalent actuarial designation
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields; advanced degree is ideal
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working with actuarial models, including more than 5+ years leading and managing high‑performing teams
  • Expertise in financial projection models, financial analysis, valuation frameworks, and regulatory standards
  • Experience includes developing, validating, and interpreting complex projection models; applying advanced valuation methodologies across multiple product lines; conducting robust financial and scenario analyses; and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements such as statutory, GAAP, and principles‑based frameworks.
