About the role

  • Work with business partners in Third-Party Distribution and New Markets to provide high quality information and analysis
  • Manage the newly established Annuity P&L, including distribution, new business and In-force profitability
  • Partner across Finance to understand financials and leverage data platforms
  • Provide support to CFO customers on performance, opportunities for cost efficiencies, and decision-making
  • Actively participate in driving business financial projects/initiatives
  • Develop and employ analytical models to influence key financial decisions
  • Prepare high quality analysis and contribute to driver-based forecasts
  • Identify and monitor key performance drivers and risks, communicating trends and observations clearly
  • Develop sales forecast scenarios and assess trends and leading indicators

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in finance or actuarial
  • Experience using data and information to analyze and communicate (in writing, orally and visually)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with, challenge and influence senior business leaders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to lead across a matrixed organization
  • FSA, CFA or MBA designation a plus
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reporting requirements relating to annuity products a plus
  • Experience with financial forecasting and quarter closes
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deliverables
