About the role
- Lead development of a Loan Investment Program dashboard aligning loan analytics with strategic growth
- Create ROI view of the Loan Program with actionable insights
- Consult and recommend to Business Owner and evaluate control enhancements and automation efficiencies
- Oversee Strategic Program & Delivery (SP&D) process for initiatives
- Develop and maintain programmatic forecast tied to balance sheet and income statement
- Serve as second-in-command to Head of Agency Accounting & Analytics for loan programs, rent/lease commitments and agency accounting
- Provide high-quality information and analysis to facilitate business performance assessment and decision-making
- Monitor and communicate business drivers, analyze sales, revenues, loan payments and financial drivers
- Prepare strategic, executive-ready presentations and high-quality analysis to influence decisions
- Drive and support strategic initiatives including transformation, automated reporting, advanced analytics and data governance
- Collaborate and influence across Finance and business partners to improve processes and communicate complex analysis
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with 5+ years experience in accounting or finance
- Experience using data and information to analyze and communicate leveraging business intelligence applications (Alation, Microstrategy, SQL queries etc.)
- Intellectual curiosity to continue learning

- Demonstrated potential to take on expanded responsibilities
- Must pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
- Ideal: 8+ years experience in accounting or finance
- Ideal: Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reporting requirements relating to life insurance products a plus
- Ideal: Successful cross-functional leadership across a matrixed organization
