About the role

  • Lead development of a Loan Investment Program dashboard aligning loan analytics with strategic growth
  • Create ROI view of the Loan Program with actionable insights
  • Consult and recommend to Business Owner and evaluate control enhancements and automation efficiencies
  • Oversee Strategic Program & Delivery (SP&D) process for initiatives
  • Develop and maintain programmatic forecast tied to balance sheet and income statement
  • Serve as second-in-command to Head of Agency Accounting & Analytics for loan programs, rent/lease commitments and agency accounting
  • Provide high-quality information and analysis to facilitate business performance assessment and decision-making
  • Monitor and communicate business drivers, analyze sales, revenues, loan payments and financial drivers
  • Prepare strategic, executive-ready presentations and high-quality analysis to influence decisions
  • Drive and support strategic initiatives including transformation, automated reporting, advanced analytics and data governance
  • Collaborate and influence across Finance and business partners to improve processes and communicate complex analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 5+ years experience in accounting or finance
  • Experience using data and information to analyze and communicate leveraging business intelligence applications (Alation, Microstrategy, SQL queries etc.)
  • Intellectual curiosity to continue learning
  • Ability to partner with and influence business leaders and peers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated potential to take on expanded responsibilities
  • Must pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
  • Ideal: 8+ years experience in accounting or finance
  • Ideal: Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reporting requirements relating to life insurance products a plus
  • Ideal: Successful cross-functional leadership across a matrixed organization
  • Ideal: Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deliverables
