About the role

  • Lead a portfolio of small to mid-sized projects that improve governance, mitigate risk, and enhance process efficiency across investment advisory services
  • Full ownership of project lifecycles — from identifying opportunities and developing critical milestones to driving successful implementation
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently with high autonomy and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Develop and present regular management reports to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Identify, design, and lead risk, governance, and process efficiency projects from initiation through deployment
  • Develop project plans, define deliverables and milestones, engage stakeholders, and track progress to ensure timely execution
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Build and deliver executive-level reporting on project progress, issues, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and field partners to align project outcomes with strategic and operational goals
  • Ensure all projects are fully documented, with clear training and communication plans for sustained adoption

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience in financial services industry
  • 3+ experience in project management or program delivery within wealth management, investment advisory services, risk management, compliance, research/reporting, or operations
  • 3+ years experience developing project charters, manage timelines, track milestones, and drive issues to resolution
  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
