About the role
- Lead a portfolio of small to mid-sized projects that improve governance, mitigate risk, and enhance process efficiency across investment advisory services
- Full ownership of project lifecycles — from identifying opportunities and developing critical milestones to driving successful implementation
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with high autonomy and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Develop and present regular management reports to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes
- Identify, design, and lead risk, governance, and process efficiency projects from initiation through deployment
- Develop project plans, define deliverables and milestones, engage stakeholders, and track progress to ensure timely execution
- Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Build and deliver executive-level reporting on project progress, issues, and outcomes
- Collaborate with internal and field partners to align project outcomes with strategic and operational goals
- Ensure all projects are fully documented, with clear training and communication plans for sustained adoption
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience in financial services industry
- 3+ experience in project management or program delivery within wealth management, investment advisory services, risk management, compliance, research/reporting, or operations
- 3+ years experience developing project charters, manage timelines, track milestones, and drive issues to resolution
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
