About the role
- Lead Pricing & Valuations function; ensure timely, independent, fair valuations across asset classes
Determine and validate asset values; ensure pricing data accuracy and integration
Define and enhance Pricing & Valuations Policy; participate in Valuations Committee
Oversee daily and month-end price capture, checks, stale price monitoring and exception management
Approve valuations; partner with asset managers and third-party vendors
Own controls for pricing source hierarchy and valuation adjustments; lead IPV and audit coordination
Lead and mentor team of 4-5 pricing analysts; drive talent development and succession planning
Partner with investment teams, external service providers, regulators; report into governance forums
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting or STEM
10+ years in asset management, hedge fund, custodian or Big 4 valuation advisory
3+ years in a leadership role
CFA and/or CAIA preferred
Deep knowledge of multi-asset valuation techniques, pricing vendor landscape and accounting/reporting standards
Advanced Excel/VBA; exposure to Python, SQL or Alteryx beneficial
Familiarity with order-management and accounting platforms (e.g., Aladdin, SimCorp, Geneva, Eagle)
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, influential communicator at C-suite/board level
