About the role

  • Enforce Massachusetts labor standards and prosecute violations in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives and public presentations concerning wage and hour laws.
  • Maintain an active case load.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
  • At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in the practice of law.
  • Legal experience and/or interest in protecting the rights of vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to advise on legal matters by interpreting relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Chinese or other language fluency desirable.
