About the role
- Enforce Massachusetts labor standards and prosecute violations in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives and public presentations concerning wage and hour laws.
- Maintain an active case load.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
- At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in the practice of law.
- Legal experience and/or interest in protecting the rights of vulnerable populations.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to advise on legal matters by interpreting relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Chinese or other language fluency desirable.
