About the role

  • Lead the finance team in the successful implementation of the core banking system across Mashreq geographies.
  • Act as the primary interface between the finance department and the project implementation team.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, alignment with organizational financial processes, and seamless integration of the new system into financial reporting and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure finance requirements are met.
  • Design and validate finance-specific configurations within Oracle Flexcube.
  • Coordinate data migration activities and ensure accurate transfer of finance-related historical data.
  • Drive automation in financial statement preparation, reconciliation processes, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in system implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing core banking systems, particularly Oracle Flexcube.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
  • Expertise in Oracle Flexcube configurations for finance modules.
  • Proficient in financial data migration and reconciliation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
