About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (React)
  • Implement RESTful APIs and JSON-based services
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server) to model and query data
  • Collaborate with QA, product management, and web designers to deliver features and follow style guidelines
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute as an Engineer within Agile teams
  • Tackle diverse technical challenges on large-scale projects and contribute to cross-functional team success
  • Share knowledge and learn within a multicultural team environment

Requirements

  • +5 years of Java full-stack experience, including working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Proven experience working in a full-stack capacity with relational database systems such as MySQL and SQL Server
  • Experience working in Agile Environment
  • Experience with REST and JSON
  • Experience working with QA and product management teams
  • Experience working with a diverse employee base across remote and local environments
  • Experience with JavaScript unit testing libraries is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with web designers to implement their designs and follow style guidelines
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the role of Engineers within Agile teams
  • Ability to nurture and maintain encouraging relationships within the team and across teams
  • Excellent time management skills
