About the role

  • IT project management: planning, steering and controlling IT projects across all project phases (initiation, design, implementation, rollout and closure)
  • Ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and quality objectives
  • Coordinating internal and external project stakeholders (business units, IT teams, service providers)
  • Requirements management and translating business requirements into technical concepts
  • Risk, change and escalation management within projects

  • Ensuring smooth IT operations in collaboration with team leads
  • Acting as the interface between the IT department, management and business units or group companies

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT project management
  • Solid knowledge of common project management methods
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT projects
  • Good knowledge of modern IT architectures, systems and processes
  • Experience working with external service providers and vendors
  • Business-fluent German and fluent English, both written and spoken; French skills desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Decisiveness and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Analytical and structured thinking
  • Assertiveness combined with a cooperative leadership style
  • Confident use of common project, portfolio and resource management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar
  • Resilience and a confident manner even in critical project situations
  • Enjoy working with people, with a strong customer and team orientation
