About the role
- Project planning & control
- Overall responsibility for the planning, execution and completion of projects
- Preparation and monitoring of project structure, schedule and resource plans
- Budget and cost responsibility (controlling, reporting)
- Risk management and opportunity assessment
- Claims management and handling of change orders
- Team leadership & coordination
- Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams
- Coordination of all project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning)
- Interface management between trades
- Personnel planning and resource allocation
- Stakeholder & contract management
- Main point of contact for the client
- Communication with partners and subcontractors
- Reporting to management
- Negotiation of contract changes/variations
- Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
- Technical responsibility
- Approval/release of engineering deliverables
- Quality assurance across all phases
- Acceptance and warranty management
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of international large-project experience in plant engineering
- PM certification (PMP, IPMA B/A, PRINCE2) is an advantage
- Experience in EPC / EPCM projects
- Solid project management methodology knowledge and confident use of PM tools
- Technical understanding of plant engineering
- Knowledge of contracts
- Experience with cost and budget responsibility
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
