Deliver the National Commercial strategy for Main Contractor and Housebuilder key accounts
Proactively develop profitable commercial business opportunities for Marshalls across defined Key Housebuilder and Contractor accounts
Create demand and drive specification of Marshalls products and systems
Maximise profitability by achieving the optimal blend of price, volume and product mix
Report directly to the Divisional Trading Manager
Lead engagement with head office pre-construction and design teams to identify and track main projects in the region
Use Barbour ABI to track project progress and keep shared documents up-to-date
Get in early with project teams and specification managers and manage preferred supplier relationships
Lead negotiations with key stakeholders and leverage the company value proposition regionally
Requirements
Commercial experience across a wide number of stakeholders including housebuilders and main contractors
Able to leverage specification strategy with main contractor and housebuilders customers to gain higher margins and better product mix
Be a creative thinker and have the ability to think from a solutions perspective rather deferring to status quo and traditional methods
Working knowledge of procurement routes with the capacity to lead negotiations with key stakeholders using our broad value proposition as a commercial lever
Detailed knowledge of RIBA
Expertise with Barbour ABI
Ability to engage with pre-construction and design teams and specification managers at head offices
