About the role
- Responsible for the Marshalls Street Furniture & Perimeter Protection category.
- Analyze market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging industry trends.
- Ensure Marshalls stays ahead of the curve regarding market needs and trends.
- Identify new product opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Monitor sales, profitability, and product performance using data analytics.
- Partner with teams to ensure product quality and drive new product development.
- Provide data-driven insights supporting sales and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and commercial teams to optimize pricing strategies.
Requirements
- A degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proven, previous experience in product or category management, with a track record of driving commercial success.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting market data and identifying trends.
- A deep understanding of supply chains, procurement, and product development.
- Experience working with B2B and B2C buying processes, specification requirements, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Experience in the construction or building materials industry would be incredibly desirable
