About the role

  • Drive organizational design initiatives that incorporate change management, cultural transformation and leadership development to ensure sustainable impact
  • Collaborate with Clients and conduct comprehensive assessments of their current workforce and organizational structures, processes, and practices
  • Analyze data and develop insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, developing expertise in the transformation area: organization design, process re-engineering, analytics and technology trends
  • Contribute to large complex client projects by executing project delivery in line with strategic direction from the project manager
  • Contribute to implementing tailored solutions that align with clients' strategic goals and addressing their specific workforce and organizational needs
  • Facilitate client meetings (e.g. workshops, focus groups, and other collaborative sessions) and act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and other deliverables to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients
  • Take part in designing new and innovative solutions, processes and projects in Workforce & Organization Transformation and data driven Organization design
  • Balance multiple project schedules to meet deadlines
  • Implement strategic workforce planning best practices that deliver value to the business
  • Learn and adapt Mercer standard tools and methodologies and work closely with other Mercer practices in the HR consulting space
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce and organization transformation, and share knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Organization, Management Engineering or similar
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting firms or companies with a focus on workforce and organization transformation, organizational development or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to support senior colleagues in the design, implementation and coordination of development projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • A strong interest, passion and curiosity for design processes and change management dynamics
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and knowledge of statistical tools
  • Italian and English proficiency.
