About the role
- Drive organizational design initiatives that incorporate change management, cultural transformation and leadership development to ensure sustainable impact
- Collaborate with Clients and conduct comprehensive assessments of their current workforce and organizational structures, processes, and practices
- Analyze data and develop insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, developing expertise in the transformation area: organization design, process re-engineering, analytics and technology trends
- Contribute to large complex client projects by executing project delivery in line with strategic direction from the project manager
- Contribute to implementing tailored solutions that align with clients' strategic goals and addressing their specific workforce and organizational needs
- Facilitate client meetings (e.g. workshops, focus groups, and other collaborative sessions) and act as a trusted advisor to clients
- Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and other deliverables to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients
- Take part in designing new and innovative solutions, processes and projects in Workforce & Organization Transformation and data driven Organization design
- Balance multiple project schedules to meet deadlines
- Implement strategic workforce planning best practices that deliver value to the business
- Learn and adapt Mercer standard tools and methodologies and work closely with other Mercer practices in the HR consulting space
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce and organization transformation, and share knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Organization, Management Engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting firms or companies with a focus on workforce and organization transformation, organizational development or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills to support senior colleagues in the design, implementation and coordination of development projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- A strong interest, passion and curiosity for design processes and change management dynamics
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and knowledge of statistical tools
- Italian and English proficiency.
