About the role

  • Develop and further refine Marsh Germany’s value proposition for corporate clients and financial institutions to support international growth and risk management
  • Promote cross-selling and multi-product solutions with new and existing financial institutions and corporate clients
  • Create technical content for local Credit Specialties brochures and marketing materials
  • Implement and champion new initiatives and innovative solutions
  • Maintain and expand the PRSC client portfolio, achieving agreed annual targets
  • Participate in Marsh-organized events, conferences, panels and presentations
  • Represent Marsh and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Build market relationships with insurers across Europe, London and other international insurers in the political risk and structured credit space
  • Structure, negotiate and place tailored credit insurance solutions
  • Track revenues and monitor achievement of targets

Requirements

  • Proven expertise with a confident public presence and the ability to collaborate constructively with external partners
  • At least 5 years’ experience in financial services, credit insurance, underwriting or brokerage with a focus on banks and/or non-bank financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of insurance topics, syndication, corporate banking, trade finance, structured trade & export finance (STEF), project finance and commodity finance
  • Knowledge of securitizations is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Multicultural mindset and willingness to collaborate across borders
  • Operational excellence, attention to detail and strategic thinking
