About the role
- Provide expert advice and counsel to HR colleagues and senior management across the Pacific region on a wide range of employee relations issues including misconduct, performance management, industrial relations, and legal compliance
- Oversee and conduct investigations into employee complaints such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, partnering with external legal counsel as needed
- Act as Marsh’s representative in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other regulatory bodies, managing conciliations and arbitrations
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification with 7+ years of employee relations experience, including managing complex investigations and issue resolution
- Strong knowledge of local employment and workplace laws in the Pacific region
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to present complex employment concepts to diverse audiences
