💰 $64,700 - $120,400 per year

About the role

  • Utilize exceptional client servicing skills to maintain and expand client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts
  • Provide professional insurance services by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments
  • Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations
  • Complete applications, preparation of submissions, and negotiations with carriers
  • Prepare proposals according to agency standards
  • Resolve issues related to billing, policy changes, and respond to policy coverage questions
  • Prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license and stay current with regulations

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant insurance brokerage experience
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • Experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process
  • Solid coverage, underwriting and risk management knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser software
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or other related fields (preferred)
