Serve as a primary financial contact for clients while providing direction to analysts and associates.
Lead client engagements related to health benefits strategies, including financial projections, plan design optimization, renewal negotiations, and benchmarking.
Manage overall service delivery, providing strategic guidance and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
Review data analyses performed by junior team members to ensure actuarial accuracy and support their professional development.
Conduct complex analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other tools, with potential specialization in healthcare-related insurance areas.
Prepare and review client reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommend actionable strategies.
Requirements
BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in underwriting or actuarial roles, with a focus on health and benefits consulting.
Client-facing experience with strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
ASA credentialed or equivalent professional certification, preferred.
