About the role
- Accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s
- Utilize market data and drive a sustained Vet ecosystem by leveraging innovation and digital solutions
- Make daily calls in the field to customers in your assigned territory
- Ability to translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and market data into new business opportunities
- Knows how to prioritize time based on opportunity and level of clinic influence in the market
- Provide strategic advice and help clinics build their online presence by working closely with them in a consultative role.
- Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within urban centers
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies based on changing needs to maximize territory performance
- Manage an expense and sales budget and complete CRM call reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
- Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel
