About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and industry standards (i.e., ISO 9001:2015)
- Lead the preparation and execution of ISO 9001:2015 audits, including both internal and external audits
- Train and guide staff on quality management principles and practices to foster a quality-driven culture
- Monitor, measure, and report on quality performance and compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality objectives into business processes and product development
- Manage the document control system to ensure all quality documentation is accessible, current, and compliant with standards and regulations
- Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis activities to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and external auditors regarding the QMS
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or other related technical field
- At least 10 years of quality experience, a portion of which has been in a leadership role
- Recognized quality certification (e.g., CQA, CQE, etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement strategic solutions
