About the role
- Own global expansion strategy, including market selection, sequencing, and entry approach
- Define go-to-market readiness across logistics, regulatory, compliance, payments, and local partners
- Ensure all market entries meet local regulatory, labeling, and compliance requirements
- Build a repeatable framework for launching and scaling new markets
- Track performance by market and adjust strategy based on results
- Own and evolve the operating model to support a global, multi-channel business
- Define how the organization scales across regions, including structure, ownership, and decision making
- Set performance standards and ensure accountability across core operational functions
- Identify structural gaps and implement systems and processes that enable efficient scale
- Partner with Growth, Product, Legal, and Finance to bring new markets online
- Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs across teams
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met without slowing execution
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or business operations in a high-growth consumer business
- Proven experience leading international expansion and launching into new markets
- Strong familiarity with fulfillment, logistics, retail, and product operations
- Experience leading teams through senior operators or functional leads
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate complexity into clear decisions
- Clear, structured communicator comfortable working cross-functionally and with leadership
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Nice to Have
- Experience in supplements, CPG, or regulated consumer products
- Familiarity with Shopify and shipping and logistics tools such as ShipHero
- Experience scaling operations from early stage through rapid growth
