About the role
- Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large project works across the UK
- Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems
- Forward planning regarding parts requirements, placing parts orders, liaising with site management and coordinating with other trades
- Work independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works
- Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify systems and discuss requirements with new and existing customers
- Receive field support and training for all disciplines undertaken
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe intallation
- Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems, be able to carry system change overs and be competent with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems.
- A working practice of BS9251
- Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in the field independently
- Flexible to work across single and multiple site locations
- Full Driving Licence
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team
