About the role

  • Serve as the primary HR consultant to assigned customer base providing tactical HR support
  • Coach and support management on performance management and employee relations
  • Support management with EOAs ensuring business cases and impact analysis
  • Administer accommodations and LOAs timely and appropriately
  • Build consultative relationships with leadership and implement HR initiatives
  • Participate in program implementation and job description creation
  • Support employee engagement activities and deliver excellent employee experience
  • Advise management on employment laws and company policies to manage risk
  • Create and deliver HR presentations to ensure policy and legal adherence
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with Learning & Development
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to reduce legal risk and ensure compliance
  • Recommend new HR approaches, policies, and procedures for improvement
  • Deliver project work aligned with business objectives

Requirements

  • Significant and progressive experience working within a Human Resources function within a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to present to small and large groups
  • Possess a strong commitment to integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including performance management, employee relations, organizational development, diversity & inclusion, and compensation
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of talent management
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent client management/stakeholder management and business literacy skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Possess a customer service vision and a commitment to integrity and responsiveness
  • Possess a collaborative, team player mentality
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in HR (or related business)
  • Prior experience with multi-location/state HR support preferred
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Four (4) in-office workdays per week and the option to work one (1) additional day remotely or in office
