About the role

  • Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across production, staging, and development environments.
  • Administer and maintain Windows servers, including updates, patching, and system monitoring.
  • Monitor server performance, storage, and networking, resolving system-level issues proactively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working as Database Administrator working with Microsoft SQL Server and experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Proven experience with database migrations and upgrades.
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database development (stored procedures, triggers, functions).
  • Solid knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, backup and restore strategies, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with the development team.
  • Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell or similar) preferred.
  • Must be a strong self-manager with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
