About the role

  • The Strategic Pursuits Architect operates at the intersection of pre-sales, technical architecture, and market development to drive revenue growth through non-traditional sales motions
  • This role focuses on presenting and validating future Mark43 products before they exist, securing customer commitments that inform product roadmap decisions, and architecting statewide solutions that benefit entire markets rather than individual customers

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or related field
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand and articulate complex product architectures
  • Proven ability to conduct consultative discovery and translate customer needs into solutions
  • Experience selling to government, public safety, or similarly complex stakeholder environments
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-level and executive audiences
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and selling products that don't yet fully exist
